CBDT Chairman Ravi Agarwal gets one year extension
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet notified on Saturday said that it has approved the re-appointment of Ravi Agrawal, as Chairman of the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), the apex policy-making body of the Income Tax Department.
His tenure has been extended from 1st July 2025 to 30th June 2026 on the usual terms and conditions applicable to re-employed government employees.
