Due Date Alert: Today Is Last Day to Apply for GST Amnesty Scheme
The GST Amnesty Scheme was introduced to offer financial relief to taxpayers by waiving penalties and interest on overdue returns. It has been in effect since November 1, 2024. However, to avail the benefit of this scheme, you must clear the payment dues before the specified due date and submit the relevant forms.
Under this scheme, you can get rid of heavy penalties. Taxpayers should note that today, i.e., June 30, 2025, is the last day to apply for the GST Amnesty Scheme. After June 30, 2025, you will not be allowed to opt for this scheme, and you will be required to pay the outstanding dues along with interest and penalties.
