Income Tax Bill: Select Lok Sabha Committee to review bill on representation of CSs and CMAs
The next sitting of the select Lok Sabha Committee to review the bill on the representation of Company Secretaries (CS) and Cost Accountants (CMA) will take place on 16th April 2025.
Greater transparency, easier tax compliance, and the removal of antiquated clauses from the current Income-tax Act, 1961 are the goals of the new Income Tax Bill. The measure addresses concerns that have changed over the previous 60 years and offers a significant revamp of India’s tax system.
