MCA V3 Annual Filing FY 2024-25 Live: A Beginning of New Era

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has finally unveiled the final set of 38 e-forms on the MCA V3 Portal. This year, Annual Filing on the MCA Portal will be on the V3 Portal. This marks the beginning of a new era for both Professionals and Companies.

One of the important observations made in the e-Director’s Report is, we now have a character limit in various fields of the e-Director’s Report; some allow only 1000, some just 500. So, be precise and concise while preparing your Directors’ Report. As per the update in Form AOC-4, now companies must prepare e-Director’s Report & e-Auditor’s Report. As per instructions, copy-paste should be avoided, and everything has to be typed manually. Professionals should brace themselves, as this will now take a lot more time.

• MGT-7 UPDATE: Now, both online and offline options for MGT-7 are available on the MCA site. In offline mode, some info is filled online and the rest in the downloaded Excel sheet.
• E-Auditor’s Report Update: At column no. 5 & 5A, companies must mention all points from the PDF Auditor’s Report that are NOT covered in the e-Auditor’s Report.
