Mumbai GST Sets Grievance Redressal System for Registration Issues
Many taxpayers and businesses face difficulties while getting a GST registration. The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), in one of its recent instructions, shared that it has received many complaints about the difficulties being faced by taxpayers while registering under GST.
To address these issues, the DGTPS Mumbai CBIC has shared a post on the platform X announcing the establishment of the GST Registration Grievance Redressal Mechanism.
As per the post, “A grievance redressal mechanism has been established for GST registration applicants under the Central jurisdiction of CGST & C. Ex., Mumbai Zone. Applicants can submit grievances to reg-cgstmz@gov.in“.

Bringing the Grievance Redressal System will help in solving complaints within a fixed time. The taxpayers can easily lodge their complaints or grievances. This will also resolve the delays and disputes related to GST registration.
