Refunds Delayed, ITR Blocked! FY 2024-25 Tax Utility Still Missing

The Income Tax Department has released the Excel utilities for ITR-1 and ITR-4. The taxpayers are waiting for the Excel/ Jason versions of other income tax return forms like ITR-2 and ITR-3. As we know, the deadline for filing returns has been extended to September 15, 2025. Now, many taxpayers are waiting to get started with their tax filing processing and are growing impatient with the delay.

Many users raised their concerns on the social media. A person name Raisaar posted on the X platform (earlier called as Twitter) asking the department to release ITR-2 and ITR-3 forms soon.

A Chartered Accountant also questioned on the issue of not having any clear update on when the other Excel forms will be made available.
