Notification on Interest Rate for Non-Government Provident, Superannuation, and Gratuity Funds

The Ministry of Finance (Department of Economic Affairs) recently shared a notification on October 10, 2025, regarding the interest rate applicable to deposits under the Special Deposit Scheme for Non-Government Provident, Superannuation, and Gratuity Funds.

According to the notification, deposits made under the scheme (Special Deposit Scheme for Non-Government Provident, Superannuation, and Gratuity Funds) originally announced through Notification No. F.16(1)-PD/75 dated June 30, 1975 will carry an interest rate of 7.1% for the period from October 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025.

Note: This rate will be effective from October 1, 2025.
